Cut Your Caseload, Keep Your Income

Be honest. Does this sound like you?

You’re seeing 25, 30, maybe 35+ clients a week and you know it’s not sustainable

You’re writing notes after the kids go to bed and eating lunch between sessions, if you eat at all

You’ve had an intensive idea sitting in your Notes app for months

The second you think about actually doing it, your brain says “but what if nobody pays for this?”

Your clients are used to a $30 copay, your town is small, or you’re worried about staying competitive

You don’t need to quit weekly therapy to start seeing fewer clients. You need a plan that protects your income while you make the shift.

The common trap

The biggest mistake I see therapists make when they try to cut back

Trying to switch their whole practice at once. They drop weekly clients, launch an intensive, and then panic when it doesn’t book in the first month. The fix isn’t more courage. It’s a smarter transition, one where your income floor never drops while intensives start filling in.

Your take-home plan

This isn’t a pep talk. You’ll leave with a real plan.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own one-page Intensive Transition Plan with:

01

Your safety floor

The exact weekly income you need to protect so you can cut back without the money panic.

02

Your replacement math

How many intensives a month it could take to replace some weekly clients, using sample numbers.

03

Your “first three” list

Three referral sources or channels already in your world that could send you intensive clients, like a physician you already know, a colleague who gets requests they can’t take, or your waitlist.

04

Your 90-day bridge

A simple timeline for adding intensives while keeping your caseload steady.

90 focused minutes

Here’s how the 90 minutes will go

This is a working session, not a lecture. You’ll spend about half the time filling in your own plan.

1

Intensives 101

The most common intensive formats, who actually books them, and my real before-and-after numbers.

2

Your real numbers (hands-on)

Calculate what you actually earn per hour after notes and admin, your safety floor, and your growth number.

3

Will anyone actually pay? (hands-on)

We’ll walk through the evidence on copay caseloads, “staying competitive,” small towns, and whether it’s ethical to charge more. Then you’ll write your answer to your loudest objection and map three referral sources already in your world.

4

Your 90-day bridge (hands-on)

Fill in a simple timeline for adding intensives without dropping the clients who pay your bills.

5

What’s next

What your plan covers, what it doesn’t yet, and how to keep going.

Plus: optional live Q&A for anyone who wants to stay

Your guide

Hi, I’m Hannah

I’m a licensed therapist who built my private practice around trauma intensives. Before that, I was working in a group practice that took about 30% of what I made while I still covered my own rent, furniture, scheduling, marketing, and paperwork.

When I went out on my own, I recreated the same overwork pattern until I finally rebuilt everything around intensives. Now I work fewer days, see fewer clients, make more, travel more, and actually get time with my family. I’m not teaching theory. These are my real numbers, systems, and mistakes, so you don’t have to guess.

Questions you might be asking

You don’t have to risk your income to see fewer clients.
